Maverick Golf & Ranch Club | Fort Worth, Texas

A home at Maverick Golf & Ranch Club, designed to move from a formal courtyard arrival to an infinity edge pool that looks out over the fairway.

This home at Maverick Golf & Ranch Club in Fort Worth was built by Brabec Custom Homes. The landscape is designed to move from a formal arrival court to open fairway views.

The entry is organized around a central courtyard. A limestone walk runs beside a pebble-lined water feature with a row of lit bubblers, and ornamental trees rise from planters set in the water. A cobblestone motor court and a stone address wall with tiered planting beds complete the arrival.

Out back, an infinity edge pool and raised spa look out over the course. A sunken fire pit lounge and an outdoor kitchen extend the living space, and stone steps and lawn terraces step down toward the fairway. Lacebark Elm, Autumn Blaze Maple, Desert Willow and Texas Mountain Laurel provide shade and seasonal interest. Holly, Distylium and Boxwood add structure, with Pink Muhly and Berkeley Sedge for softness.

Limestone ties the walls, steps and paving to the home, and the design meets the community’s guidelines throughout. The result is a landscape made for golf course living: polished at the front door and open to the view out back.
