Two Homes, One Plan, Keller, Texas

From the curb, the two homes share one continuous lawn and a matching rhythm of trees and hedges. Step behind either one, and the experience is entirely its own. For these neighboring residences in Keller, we designed both landscapes as a single plan.

One backyard centers on a raised pool wrapped in brick that matches the house, beside a sunken fire pit terrace of stone pavers set in turf. The other pairs a pool and spa with a wide stone deck that runs from the covered patio and outdoor kitchen out to the lawn.

Clipped hedges line the foundations, and tall evergreen screens give each yard privacy, uplit after dark. White flowering beds soften the patios, and ornamental grasses and shade trees frame the front lawns.

At the street, each arrival takes its cue from the house behind it. Motor courts banded in pavers, a stepping-stone walk set in gravel and low monument walls lead the way home. Beneath it all, a drainage plan carries water quietly away from both houses. Seen together, the two homes stand on their own and read as a pair.
